Tip

Many times parents forget their questions when they call.  It happens to everyone.  Writing questions down before calling should prove to be helpful.

We welcome your comments and questions.  Don't forget to read our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).  It should answer many questions.  To contact Crossroads Christian School, use the following methods:

Electronic Mail:

     General Information: ccsrecords@cox.net

As much as we appreciate the Internet, it has proven not to be reliable at times.  If one emails us and does not receive a reply within a reasonable amount of time (excluding weekends, holidays, or announced closures), do not hesitate to send the letter again.  Keep in mind that we receive on average 600 emails a day.  Please give us time to respond, especially if a request requires some research.  Emails are convenient in that they are sent and received quickly; however, they must be treated similar to other correspondence.  Instant replies are not always available as we address emails in the order in which they are received.  Even though we have a website, it is important to understand that this is a school.  We do not have operators working 24 hours a day.  Your patience is appreciated.

bulletFollow these suggestions to reduce response time when contacting CCS via email:

The student's name and grade should be included within the email.

When responding to an email, be sure to use the Reply feature rather than

composing a new email.  This will attach all previous correspondence to

           the response.

Closures:

Crossroads Christian School will be closed on all government holidays.  Traditionally, CCS is closed for a few weeks in late December, the last week of February, one week in association with Easter, and one week for Thanksgiving.  Spring break has also been added to our weekly closings and typically occurs in March or April. Random single day closures vary according to meetings or special workdays.  Closures are noted on the News page.  Since we are open all year and allow parents the freedom to set their schedules, it is important that we do have periodic closures.

     Did You Know?

Did you know that the entire state of Florida is not in the Eastern Time Zone?

It's true.  The area of Florida located west of Tallahassee is in Central Time Zone.  This includes almost all of the NW Florida "Panhandle".

      Phone Hours?

At Crossroads we realize that families are not the same.  Each child is different and a wonderful blessing.  At times,

situations and/or

circumstances can not be dealt with in a "black and white" fashion.  There needs to be a little gray.  Because of this, it is important to have the persons who are able to make these decisions answer the phone.  It is easier on the parent since they need not explain their situation to several people before receiving an answer.  In addition it allows us the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with the parents.

This is the reason behind the limited phone hours.  It may be an inconvenience at times, but at others it may prove to be a blessing.  We appreciate you for understanding.  Hopefully it will be you who will benefit from it.
